The Body Shop truly lost its mojo! Sad!
The Body Shop lost all imagination integrity and customer loyalty. The classic fragrances now smell cheap and NOTHING like the originals. Some are still excellent but I can’t see the newest owners making a go of it. It was always our favorite brand! Biggest mistake was not keeping Anita on as at least a consultant! My sister worked at the original US store! White Musk and Dewberry were THE smell of the Body Shop now they smell dreadful! I still have my reference bottles. Rougeberry was the most delicious but I would be leary of them even trying to replicate it.
Best lotion i ever used in my life!!! And i'm not just saying that to say it, I'm VERY PICKY about lotion textures and fragrances, this lotion is non greasy yet hydrating and the smell is divine! I also have eczema prone skin and no irritation at all! I'm so impressed!<br />Additionally, if you like rose this is the most realistic fresh rose scent ive tried and i'm a big rose perfume lover! I'm obsessed with this and will use forever now! :')
I love the way this moisturizes my skin, and the smell is divine. Priced nicely. I had bought a small can from a brick and mortar store and the consistency of the cream is different. Knocked one star, not because of the product, but because the lid was not secured and a third of the cream ended up smeared on the outside of the jar.
I’ve been using Body Shop body butter for 25 years and absolutely love it! It has a great smell, a wonderful texture, and is incredibly moisturizing. It’s especially protective during the winter when my skin gets dry and itchy. It leaves my skin feeling soft, smooth, and hydrated, and helps keep that uncomfortable dry-skin itch away. It’s been a favorite of mine for years!
Great product to use to keep skin moisturized, especially in the winter months. Light scent that does not go on greasy. Use it all winter long, keeps my skin hydrated for 24 hours.
The Coconut Body Butter is a great product for dry skin. I have used The Body Shop products for years and even continued purchasing them when they briefly stopped selling in the U.S. The Body Butter is rich, moisturizing, and works very well for keeping my skin soft and hydrated.<br /><br />My only concern since the product returned is that the fragrance seems much lighter than it used to be. The coconut scent is now barely noticeable, and I really miss the stronger fragrance of the original product. Otherwise, it is still a great product that I enjoy using.
The best cream but when did these get so overpriced!?!? $32-35 !?! Minus a star for the price but they are my favorite. Especially coconut and shea. Super hydrating and non greasy.
